Poor Noodle

Jadey has a cold. Poor little noodle's nose is all runny and congested. She doesn't want me wiping her nose because it hurts. So she says anyway. I have been putting some Vaseline on the outside of her nose to keep it from getting sore ( It also helps so she doesn't get boogies stuck onthe outside of her nose....haha). We didn't go to ur Gymboree Play calss today because I didn't want her getting the other kiddo's sick......... Hopefully she feels better soon :-)

Jadyn's new threads

Well, today I decided to become a crafty mom and I made Jadyn some jammies. I usually can't even sew a straight line so to make jammies was quite the achievement. I even made a matching scrunchie for her hair. The material says " I LOVE MY DOG" all over it. The letters are in animal print and there are also dog bones on the material.

Yes, it has started.... "Why, Mommy?"

"Jadyn let's put some clothes on you. We need to go get Moma from work."
"Why?"
"Well, I would imagine she would rather not stay over night at work."
"Why, Mom?"
"Because work is boring, she is hungry, and she wants to come home."
"Why, Mommy, Why?"
"Let's just put clothes on you and go get Moma."
"Otay (thats how she says it) Mommy."

Oh yes, they why stage..... it isn't enough that we are in the "doing?" and "What is that?" and "Whats that noise/sound?" She's LUCKY she's cute....haha!!!

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny

So, we went for breakfast with the Easter Bunny. It was buffet style. The Easter Bunny walked around during the breakfast and took pictures with the kids. They also had some live animals ( ducks, a parrot and a bunny) for the kids to see. They actually got to pet the bunny. There was a craft area where Jadyn and I made a bunny and colored a picture. We then went to Walmart to get all of our Easter Basket things. AND could you guess who was there? The Easter Bunny. Jadyn got her picture with him AGAIN!! We just couldn't believe he also had to go to Walmart.Then, we came home and took a nap. Then, we got up and colored Easter Eggs

Conversation at dinner tonight.

We were at Aunt Lisa's eating mushroom ravioli's when we all started talking about the potty to Jadyn.
Me: "Jadyn, ya know, you could give your diapers to babies that need them and the Easter Bunny will leave you Big Girl underwear."
Jadyn:" Pink Ones?"
Aunt Lisa "yup"
Jadyn: Purple ones and green ones too?"
"Moma: "Yes"
Jadyn: " Jadyn sits on Mommy's Potty"
Moma:" Oh you do huh? How many times have you done that?"
Jadyn thinks and thinks and thinks and says:
"F"

Potty Books

I ordered Jadyn 4 Potty books from Amazon. We got two of them yesterday. She LOVES looking at them and LOVES it when I read them to her. She claps for the little girls in the books. Today we hung up her star chart in the bathroom. She was pretty excited about that. Not excited enough to use the potty and get a sticker though. She thought maybe "puppy" should sit on the potty though. Jadyn held Puppy on the potty and wiped him when he was done. She flushed the toilet for him and we clapped. He also got a sticker (pretend) for sitting on the potty. We did this about 20 times. Of course, Jadyn still doesn't want a turn.......lol

My baby, my love, my most favorite thing in the whole world. She's kinda cute, isn't she? ;-) I have decided I am going to start reflecting on Jadyn's day(s). Maybe not every day but I will see what I can do :-) Then,maybe, I can keep her blog and my blog seperated and my blog won't be all about her. OHhhhhhhhhhh, who am I kidding. They will probably both be about her...haha!!
